When will it ever end?

You may have heard a new schmindie-rock track called "Sink Like A Stone" by a band called Grace, and got a little confused, because they don't sound very much like the Grace we remember from the mid-90s. The original Grace were DJs Steve Osborne and none other than Paul Oakenfold, him of "Faster Kill Pussycat" fame. In April 1995, together with singer Patti Low, they went to #6 with the dance classic "Not Over Yet".

In what was presumably an attempt to convince cynics that New Rave does in fact exist, and isn't merely an invention of the NME, The Klaxons took a rocked-up version of the track to #13 back in June of this year. I'm still not convinced.

Grace had several other top 40 hits that no one can really remember now, but to refresh your memory here's what was their second single "I Want To Live" which got to #30 in September 1995.
